The former Lidcombe Hospital site had to accommodate media representatives by a fixed Games deadline while incorporating existing buildings and relocatable accommodation.

For SOCOG, Andrew Frost served as a project manager responsible for a defined portion of the Sydney 2000 Media Village works at Lidcombe.
Why this experience matters
The site was used as the media village for the Sydney 2000 Olympic Games. This was separate from the athletes’ village at Newington.
