What does a client-side project manager do?
A client-side project manager represents the owner’s interests and coordinates the brief, consultants, procurement, reporting, decisions and delivery oversight. The agreed appointment defines their authority and responsibilities.
Is client-side project management the same as the builder’s project management?
No. The builder manages its construction obligations and delivery team. A client-side manager helps the owner make informed decisions and maintain oversight of the whole project.
Can Team Vanguard support only one project stage?
Yes. We can agree a defined stage or work package, or support the project from early planning through handover.
What is design and construct?
Design and construct is a procurement method in which one contractor is engaged for both design and construction against the client’s stated requirements.
Do you support builders with tenders and bids?
Yes. Work can include compliance and returnables, scope review, trade enquiries, estimating coordination, methodology, programme narrative, bid writing and final checks.
Can we send project or tender documents?
Yes. Email Team Vanguard with the project name, location, stage, key dates and support required, and attach the relevant documents. We will discuss scope and confidentiality before proceeding.
